January 2017, a histology- and cytology laboratory for pathology was set up at the Mission Hospital Tansen Nepal, which cannot be fully used via iPath due to objections from the hospital administration. An educated pathologist should be responsible for the pre-cut of patient material. The pathologist which was declared to come didn’t arrive. Cytology is running very well.
